Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili Pardoned 49 Convicts

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili pardoned 49 people in connection with St. George’s Day.

As reported by Georgian state television, the pardon affected 14 people serving non-custodial sentences, 34 people serving a prison sentence, and one person had his criminal record expunged.
