Georgian Prime Minister arrived on an official visit to Azerbaijan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze arrived on an official visit to Azerbaijan on Saturday, March 16.

According to the Azerbaijani State Media, at the International Airport. Heydar Aliyev, where state flags of both republics fluttered, in honor of the guest, an honorary guard was built.

Georgian Prime Minister was met by the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Akhmedov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Samir Sharipov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tbilisi Faig Guliev, Georgian Ambassador to Baku Zurab Pataradze and other officials.

Upon arrival, Irakli Kobahidze visited the Shehids alley and honored the memory of the national leader and late president of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, losing the wreath to his grave on the Honorary Burial Avenue.

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will accept the Georgian prime minister in Baku. As part of the official visit, Kobahidze will also meet with Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

Georgian Prime Minister on the trip is accompanied by his first deputy, Minister of Economics and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, as well as Foreign Minister Elijah Darchiashvili.
