German President announced beginning of New AD after war in Ukraine

The world is “on the verge of a new era.” After the war in Ukraine, it will not be possible to engage in politics and business, as if nothing had happened, said Germany President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, quoted by KNA.

Pandemia and the war in Ukraine made it clear how much the world has become dependent on the raw materials and primary products from countries around the world in the second phase of globalization, Steinmeier said, noting that it is necessary to find new partners, for example, Singapore, Indonesia or the country of Africa. According to him, instead of considering them as needy countries, it is necessary to recognize them with important partners who can help exist in the new world.

Russia’s war against Ukraine, according to Steinmeier, was the reason for the “strongest dynamics of geopolitical and geo -economic changes.” The end and consequences of this dynamics are “remotely unforeseen”, but no one will be able to avoid this, he warned.

Now the world needs political, military and economic reorientation, Steinmeier is sure. “We must make our democracies, our economy stable, not losing sight of our goals: the world order based on the rules, and the liberal, fair and favorable global economy for the climate,” said the president of Germany.
