Germany about gas “Armrestling” with Russia

The situation with the energy supply of Germany is now “serious and intense” due to a decrease in gas supplies from Russia, the German vice-chancellor Robert Habek said on the air of the ZDF television channel.

According to Khabek, the situation in the relationship of Berlin with Moscow resembles Armrestling. “This is a kind of arm wrestling. In the past, Russia first had a“ longer hand ”, but this does not mean that we cannot get a“ stronger hand ”due to the efforts,” he said.

Habek also noticed that at the moment, German gas storages are 57%filled, while 90%are required. As a result, he proposed to achieve the goals for winter thanks to the purchase of gas and “frugality.”
