Germany did not recognize election in Crimea

The German government does not recognize the election results in the State Duma conducted in the Crimea. This was announced at a briefing a representative of the Cabinet of Cabinet of Germany Demmer, reports TASS.

Demmer believes that the accession of the Crimea to Russia, “represents a violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.” Dummer also stressed that the provision of opportunity to vote in the elections in the Duma residents of the DNR and LNR with Russian passports is a violation of international law.

The elections to the State Duma of the eighth convocation took place within three days – 17, September 18 and 19. Earlier, the election in the Crimea did not recognize Turkey, the EU, USA and the United Kingdom.
