Germany does not see the contradictions in the plans of the European Union to purchase gas from Azerbaijan, despite the fact that it can be of Russian origin, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Ministry told reporters.
The representative of the German Ministry of Economy said that Russian gas does not enter the country in pipelines. At the same time, as he noted, it cannot be ruled out that the energy carrier from Azerbaijan can be Russian.
Gazprom from November 15 resumed gas supplies to Azerbaijan under a new agreement with the State Neftekania of the Republic (SOCAR), the volume of supplies in March 2023 will be up to 1 billion cubic meters.
