Germany will allocate military assistance to Ukraine by € 700 million

Germany will transfer to Ukraine a new package of military aid in the amount of 700 million euros. This was announced as part of the NATO summit in Vilnius, US Secretary of Defense Boris Pistorius.

According to him, the new party will include air defense systems, tanks and artillery.

He expressed confidence that the next help package will make an “important contribution to strengthening the stability of Ukraine.”

In particular, we are talking about two batteries of Patriot complexes, 40 BMP MARDER, 25 Leopard 1, 25 thousand shells, complex protection against threats of drones, as well as LUNA UAVs and field hospital.

It is expected that today the Chancellor Olaf Sholts will officially announce the transfer of the package during his performance at the NATO summit.

Until today, Germany approved the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine in the amount of about 3 billion euros.
