On May 15, at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Baku Marathon-2022 was held. To ensure security in the fifth row of the marathon under the motto “Win Wind” was entrusted with OJSC GESCO. The protection of the territory, including participants and citizens, on the route of the marathon of 21 km, in which about 15 thousand people took part, was carried out in agreement with other departments.
As part of the event, GESCO employees successfully guarded the racing track and infrastructure of the fan zone. The company’s employees also provided the comfortable and safe movement of guests, participants in the marathon and citizens until the completion of the marathon.
“Baku Marathon -2022” is not the first successful event event for the company. Previously, GESCO ensured the protection of four matches of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament in Baku.
The company, trying to support the development of sports in Azerbaijan, contributes to the activity conducted in this direction.
