Participants in the World Health Assembly during the 75th special session in Geneva re-elected the current chapter of Tedros Adhanom Goebreesus for a second term, RIA Novosti reports.
As announced during a special secretary, on Tuesday, a resolution was adopted at the closed meeting of the World Health Assembly on the appointment of the Director General. The head of the WHO may be re -elected an unlimited number of deadlines.
For the first time Tedros Adhan Goebreesus was elected WHO member states for the post of general director of the organization in May 2017.
