Government troops of Afghanistan run to border of Uzbekistan

As it has already been reported that the Taliban movement announced the transition to the city of Mazar-Sharif – the administrative center of the province of balls in the north-west of Afghanistan.

“Under our control passed the city of Mazar-Sharif – the capital of the province of balls. A few minutes ago, the governor, police chief, intelligence service … and other provincial management bodies were fully seized” – such a statement was published on the Taliban official page. Zabihulla Mujahid in Twitter.

According to Al-Arabia TV channel, government troops surrendered Mazar Sharif actually without a fight, left their positions, weapons and went to escape. Small clashes continue in the vicinity of the city.

As Reuters clarifies, at the moment, representatives of government troops who fled from Mazar-Sharif are sent towards the border with Uzbekistan.
