Grand Prix of Azerbaijan “Formula 1” starts in Baku

In Baku from April 28 to 30, the stage of the World Cups in the Formula 1 class will be held for the seventh time.

The central streets of the Azerbaijani capital, on which the races will take place, are closed for traffic. Protective barriers are installed along the racing highway, security measures were strengthened.

Spectators will be able to observe the races from the stands installed on the squares of Azadlyg and Aznepht, at the girl’s tower, the fortress gate and in other historical parts of the city.

The start of the races will be given from Azadlyg Square. Racers will overcome even around the historical city along the Caspian Sea, and the finish line will be reached again on Azadlyg Square.

At the Baku stage of the Formula 1 Bolides, they will make 51 circles on the highway with 20 turns and a total length of more than six kilometers.

On Friday, April 28, testing of cars on the track. On Saturday, April 29, the main races of the Grand Prix of Formula 1 will be held.
