Great Britain announced 137 new sanctions directed against the Russian energy sector.
The statement of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the new sanctions will interrupt Russia’s oil revenues and make even more of its difficulties in the shadow fleet unemployed.
The statement notes that 137 new sanctions against this country will further increase the pressure on the operations of the Russian shadow fleet: “The sanctions are directly sent against 135 oil tankers, the unit of the fleet, which has illegally transported goods in the amount of $ 24 from the beginning of 2024.”
According to this information, today’s step will also increase pressure on those who contribute to the shadow trade in oil of the Russian fleet. 2 sea transport companies are also included in the sanctions list.
