Greece coastal guard fired at ship with Azerbaijanis

Greece coastal guard fired near the Bozjaada region of the Turkish province of Chanakkale a ship with Azerbaijanis on board, Haber Global reports.

According to the report, the incident with the shelling of the vessel under the flag of the Comor Islands occurred 11 sea miles southwest of the coast of Bozhaada. The crew consisted of 6 citizens of Egypt, 4 – Somalia, 5 – Azerbaijan, 3 – Turkey.

The statement of the Turkish coast guard command says that on September 10, Greece coast guard officers opened fire on the Anatolian vessel under the flag of the Comor Islands, which was in international waters at a distance of 11 naval miles southwest of Bozjaada province. Two coast guard boats of Turkey were sent to the place of the incident.
