He also said that the State Department will turn to Congress with a request to approve the transfer of Greece of four multifunctional US warships of the United States of the coastal zone (LCS).

Secretary of State also proposed Greece to transfer or sell weapons to Ukraine in exchange for Washington to study additional assistance for up to $ 200 million.

The United States will give Greece priority in the supply of armored vehicles like MRAP, which will go on sale in 2025, as well as the possibility of supplying KS-135 refueling aircraft, when they are ready, the Secretary of State said.

In addition, according to the diplomat, in addition to the C-130h military transport aircraft in the Pentagon, they are working on determining the price and number of C-130J aircraft that can be sold to Athens.

The cost of 40 F-35 fighters, which the United States is preparing to sell Greece, is approximately $ 8.6 billion.
