Gross Sales Of Agricultural, Forest And Fish Sectors Of Turkey Over 5 Years Have Grown Almost 9 Times

In Turkey, gross sales of companies operating in the field of agriculture, forestry and fishing have increased by about 9 times over the past five years and reached 452.7 billion Turkish lires. According to the data collected by Anadol’s studies based on the Sector Balance 2024, prepared with the support of the Turkish Static Statistical Statistical Statistical Statistical Institute (Tüi̇k) and the Central Bank of Turkey (TCMB), as of last year, 15,366 companies with the total number of employees of 92,584 people functioned in these areas.

If in 2020, against the background of the Covid -19 pandemic, they amounted to 52.2 billion lire, then in 2021 they increased to 85.2 billion, in 2022 to 169 billion, in 2023 – to 301.7 billion, and in 2024 reached 452.7 billion lyre. Thus, the growth for a five -year period amounted to 8.7 times.

Assets of companies increased by almost 9 times

the total amount of assets of these enterprises in 2020 amounted to 68.1 billion lires. In 2021, the indicator reached 101.2 billion, in 2022 – 176 billion, in 2023 – 459.8 billion, and in 2024 – 636.6 billion lire. Thus, the assets of companies increased by 8.6 times over five years.
