Chairman of the Hulk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and French President Emmanuel Macron met in Paris.
According to the Turkmen media, according to the results of negotiations, a number of agreements were signed in the Champs Elysees. Among them are a framework agreement with the French Thales Alenia Space Group on the supply of the second telecommunications satellite.
It is noted that during the meeting, the parties entered into a number of agreements aimed at expanding bilateral interaction in the field of energy transition, infrastructure, educational and academic cooperation and expanding the joint archaeological mission in Turkmenistan.
Chairman of the Hulk Maslahata Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on Monday with an official visit to the French Republic.
Upon arrival at the Paris Airport “Orley”, the chairman of the Hulk Maslahats, the official representatives of France and members of the Turkmen delegation met.
During a brief conversation at the airport, the French representative emphasized the high value of multilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan and wished Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov a successful visit. In turn, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that this visit would give a powerful impetus to the further development of bilateral relations.
