Guterrish again headed UN

The UN General Assembly at the meeting on Friday appointed Anthony Guterish by the Secretary General of the World Organization for a second term. As the TASS reports, the chairman of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly Volkkir announced the meeting.

“I have the honor to declare the appointment of Anthony Guterish by the UN Secretary-General for the second term from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2026,” he said.

Guterry was the only candidate for the post of the UN Secretary General. Previously, he was supported by the Security Council of the World Organization.

UN Secretary-General is elected for five years.
