The UN Secretary General Antoniu Gutherrish suggested softening sanctions against potassium fertilizers from Russia and Belarus. In exchange, he wants Moscow to unlock the possibility of exporting grain from Ukraine through the ports of the Black Sea, writes The Wall Street Journal.
According to the sources of the publication, Gutherrish is negotiating with Russia, Turkey and other countries in order to resume the export of grains from Ukraine to world markets. Thus, the UN Secretary General wants to prevent a global food deficit.
