Half of territory of Ukraine captured by Russia has already been liberated

The Ukrainian military has already released about 37% of the territory that has been under Russia since 2014, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the OSINT analysts of the Defmon project.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine was already released 37% of the territory of Ukraine under the Russian occupation (counting the occupied Crimea and individual regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions), or 50% of the fact that the Russian Federation occupied after February 24, 2022,” the report said.

According to analysts, more than 124 thousand square kilometers of Ukraine are under the control of Russia. As of November 6, the Armed Forces managed to free 75 thousand square kilometers.
