A preliminary investigation was completed in the criminal case of 35-year-old Sameddin Hasanov, accused of killing his wife. According to haqqın.az, the materials of the criminal case were sent for consideration by the Baku court for serious crimes. The preparatory court session is scheduled for July 14.
The incident occurred on March 13 this year in the village of Bina Khazarsky district. The district prosecutor’s office received information about the murder of 27-year-old Ulvia Gasanova. The investigation came to the conclusion that Sameddin deliberately killed Ulvia by applying numerous stab wounds during the conflict between them on the basis of jealousy. Because of the disagreement with her husband, Ulvia Gasanov moved to the shelter “Place of Hope” together with three young children – a few days before the incident. On the day of the incident, the relatives of the woman reconciled her with her husband. Sameddin Hasanov told his children that he would come in the evening and take them. On the same day in the evening, Ulvia Hasanov was killed by her husband.
In fact, a criminal case was opened in the prosecutor’s office of the Khazar district under article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code. Sameddin Gasanov was detained as a suspect and prosecuted.
