Head of Azerigaz reported on results of work for first quarter of year

In January-April of 2022, Azerigaz received 3.817 million cubic meters of gas. This is 321 million cubic meters more than a year earlier. According to Haqqin.az, said Director General of Ruslan Aliyev during the next action “Open Doors”.

According to Ruslan Aliyev, 2 billion 926 million cubic meters of gas, delivered to the gas distribution network for the reporting period, was on the population, 891 million cubic meters – for other subscribers. The rate of loss of losses in the total gas distribution network amounted to 88 million cubic meters and 3.3 percent.

The level of payment for the used gas in January -April amounted to 98 percent – 96 percent among the population and 101 percent among other subscribers. This is 13 percent more than a year earlier.

According to the general director, during the reporting period, 19,919 new subscribers were registered in Azerigaz, of which 18,935 from the population category. As of May 1, the total number of Azerigaz subscribers was 2,461 172.

as of May 1, 2,423,293 meters are operated in Azerigaz, of which 62.6 percent of post-paid (mechanical) and 37.4 percent of devices with smart cards.

As for the construction of new gas pipelines, Ruslan Aliyev said that in January-April of the current year, 201 km of new gas pipelines in Azerbaijan laid. During the reporting period, 26 km of gas pipelines were laid in Baku and Absheron, 175 km in the regions

He added that in January-March, the production association repaired 32 kilometers of gas pipelines. As part of the gasification program in 2022, it is planned to gasify 69 villages and 62 new residential arrays. Currently, work is underway at 32 of 46 data data. As of May 1, the level of gasification of the country was 96.3 percent.
