Free Ukraine will soon become part of the European Union, said the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyain.
“On the day of Europe, she spoke to the president of [Ukraine Vladimir] Zelensky. Europe – in the heart of Ukrainians. And soon free Ukraine will become part of our Union,” she wrote on social networks x.
von der Layen noted that Ukraine needs support to protect its people and freedom from “cruel” air attacks.
