Head of European diplomacy: EU Council will discuss security obligations to Ukraine

The EU Supreme Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel said that the next meeting of the EU Council for Foreign Affairs will be devoted to EU obligations on security.

“At the next meeting of the EU Council, we will discuss the EU obligations in the field of security, and on the table there will be proposals to increase our contribution to the military potential of Ukraine,” Borrel wrote on the social network X.

The head of European diplomacy noted that on the eve of “Russia inflicted the largest missile blow in Ukrainian cities in two months.”

Borrel announced the need to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including air defense systems.
