Head Of Ministry Of Internal Affairs Of Turkey: OTG Will Decisively Fight Cross -border Crime

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Ali Yerlika said that the member countries and observers of the organization of the Turkic states (OTG) will further fight crime and criminal structures, primarily with cross -border crimes.

In the statement posted in his account on social networks, Yerlikaya said that the 2nd meeting of the Ministers of the Interior of the countries of the OSG was held in Baku. The meeting was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as observers – the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Hungary.

The key topics of the discussion were the fight against terrorism, drugs, cybercrime, illegal migration, digitalization of internal affairs and the initiative to create the Crime Council in the framework of the ODG.

“As member countries and observers of the organization of the Turkic states, we will fully determine the fight against crime and criminal structures, especially in the field of cross -border crime,” Yerlika emphasized.

In conclusion, he expressed gratitude to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Vilayaat Eyvazov for the warm welcome and hospitality.
