Head of Pentagon: war in Ukraine will end with negotiations, output will be withdrawal of troops

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that the Russian war against Ukraine will end with negotiations, the starting point to which will be the withdrawal of the troops.

He reported this in an interview with CNN.

According to him, ultimately the war will end with some negotiations.

Austin noted that Ukrainians are interested in the Russian troops to be withdrawn from the territory of Ukraine.

“And I think that this will probably be their starting point, but I will let the Ukrainians speak for themselves,” said the head of the Pentagon.

He also noted that China has not yet removed the issue of possible transfer of weapons of Russia from the agenda.

“I contacted my (Chinese – ed.) A colleague and told him that this would be a very serious mistake if China does it. It will complicate the situation,” Austin said.
