Head of State Committee met with forced immigrants

On Tuesday, August 2, the chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and Forced Migrants, Rovshan Rzaev met with citizens who enrolled in reception on the basis of a preliminary queue.

It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, large -scale measures were carried out to improve living conditions and increase the employment of forced immigrants. The head of the State Committee emphasized that the first vice president Mehriban Aliyev also pays special attention to people who suffered from the war, including refugees and forced immigrants.

During the meeting, Rovshan Rzaev noted the beginning of the return of forced immigrants to their native lands – to the territory freed from the occupation. According to him, that from July 19 to 25, immigrants from Baku were sent to the village of Agala in the Zangilan district. At the initial stage, 41 family of forced immigrants was placed in the village, and this process will continue.

Forced immigrants, adopted by the chairman of the committee on an individual basis, also expressed confidence in the imminent return to their native lands. The appeals of citizens concerned, mainly, improving housing conditions, utilities, status, a single monthly allowance, employment, return to the territory and other issues,

Citizens reported that their appeals and their issues raised will be considered and resolved in accordance with the legislation.
