Turkey is ready to bring to a new level of technological cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of defense industry. According to Anadolu, the head of the Oboronprom Department was told about the administration of the President of Turkey, Ismail Demir in a conversation with journalists in Baku.
“Turkey stands for the development of a military-industrial complex with Azerbaijan, to unite the capabilities of two states,” said Demir.
Turkish Oboronprom’s Office indicated the importance of Oboronprom in ensuring the safety and stability of states.
“There is nothing more significant than relying on our own strength, the domestic industry. Our Azerbaijani brothers see it perfectly and know,” said Demir.
Demir noted that in Azerbaijan, they are interested in the entire spectrum of Turkish defense products, “proven effectiveness in fact.”
“A roadmap will be drawn up to strengthen the industrial and technological base. We are talking about much larger-scale interaction, rather than selling or purchase of products. Larger steps in the field of military-industrial complex are possible,” the head of the Office stressed.
