Head Of Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: We Are Using Every Opportunity To End Conflict With Russian Federation

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga stated the need to use every opportunity to end the conflict with the Russian Federation.

Speaking at the 32nd meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which was held in Vienna, Sibiga noted the need to strengthen security and cooperation in Europe. “The time has come to act to restore them,” emphasized the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

Sibiga drew attention to the fact that Vienna is closer to the front line than some other European capitals. “Let no one have any illusions. While blood is being shed in Ukraine, no one in this room can feel safe,” said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

The minister spoke about the need to end the conflict as soon as possible. “We are using every chance to end the war. If there is at least one opportunity to achieve peace at the negotiating table, it should become our main priority,” the minister said.

At the same time, Sibiga emphasized that peace in Ukraine must be sustainable. “Security must be the basis of everything. Future generations will look back at us. If we want our actions to be assessed fairly, we must act now. We must take steps to achieve a genuine, just and lasting peace for Ukraine and all of Europe,” the minister said.
