In Turkey, a meeting was held in a tripartite format between the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Hulushi Akar and Georgian Defense Minister Juanscher Burchuladze, the Azerbaijan defense department said.
“Defense Ministers discussed the current military -political situation in the region, prospects for the development of military cooperation in tripartite format, conducting joint bilateral and tripartite exercises, as well as issues of ensuring the safety of regional projects,” the report said.
