Heads of Foreign Ministry of Iran and Qatar discussed “bilateral relations”

Foreign Minister Iran Hosein Amir Abdollahiyan held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and the head of the Foreign Ministry of Qatar Muhammad Bin Abdurrahman Al Sanya.

According to the press service of the IRI Foreign Ministry, the ministers discussed the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, as well as regional and international issues. The Foreign Minister also exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine and nuclear negotiations.

Meanwhile, Abdollahiyan sent congratulatory telegrams on the occasion of the holiday of Ramazan to his colleagues from Muslim countries.

Abdollahiyan emphasized the importance of the month of Ramazan and called it a month of gratitude when Muslims are tied to the bonds of worship, ministry, brotherhood and friendship for the realization of great Islamic ideals.

The Foreign Minister noted the importance of cooperation between the leaders of Islamic countries in strengthening the solidarity of Muslims and the progress of Islamic societies.
