On Thursday, September 15, a telephone conversation was held between the First Deputy Minister of Defense-the chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Kerim Veliev and the chief of the general staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Guller, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports.
During the conversation, K. Vereiev informed a colleague about a clash that occurred as a result of a large-scale provocation of the Armed Forces of Armenia on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, and decisive response measures of the Azerbaijani Army.
Yashar Guler, in turn, expressed condolences in connection with the dead servicemen and wished the speedy healing to the wounded. He emphasized that Turkey, as always, is located next to Azerbaijan.
