On October 31, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is on a working visit to Kazakhstan, met with the Minister of Defense of this country, Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov.
According to the Azerbaijani defense department, at the meeting it was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are based on ties of friendship and brotherhood.
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation in the military, military-technical, military-educational fields and in other areas.
During the discussion of the prospects for bilateral military cooperation, a detailed exchange of views was held on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
