As of 16:00, snowy weather remains in Azerbaijan, the National Hydrometeorological Service reported on Friday.
In most parts of the country and on the Absheron Peninsula, it was snowing, in places heavy.
The highest speed of the westerly wind was in Neftchala – 32 m / s and on Oil Rocks – 20 m / s, and in Baku, Bina and on Chilov Island the wind reached 18 m / s.
According to information from the “Oil Rocks” station, the wave height in the Caspian Sea reached 5.5 meters.
