HP leaves Belarus and Russia

Hewlett Packard Enterprise officially announced the termination of activities in Belarus and Russia. In late February, after the Russian attack on Ukraine, the company suspended work in two countries.

“After the suspension of deliveries and sales in Russia and Belarus at the end of February, HPE carefully monitored the situation. It is more inappropriate for us to continue activities in Russia and Belarus, and we continue to systematically turn our remaining business in these countries. We strive for a transparent business Communication with the injured members of our team, clients and partners, since we are turning into business operations in two countries, ”the HPE statement said.

HPE General Director Antonio Neri told CRN that after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the company decided to take a pause of 90 days. However, after they were seen, it is clear that the conflict was not resolved, so the leadership decided that further work in Russia and Belarus was inappropriate. It is noted that the HPE sales in two countries made up less than 2% of global sales.
