Hulushi Akar announced “progress” in dialogue on “grain agreement”

a four -sided meeting in Istanbul on grain at the level of deputy ministers of the defense of Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and representatives of the UN took place in a positive channel. The parties are moving towards the extension of the transaction. This was announced by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulushi Akar in the southwestern province of Mugla.

The head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense recalled that under the grain agreement reached with the support of Turkey, more than 30 million tons of agricultural products were exported from the Black Sea ports.

“Thanks to this agreement, a global food crisis was largely prevented and stability was provided in the markets,” Acara emphasized.

The head of the department recalled that six trade vessels of Turkey remain in the ports of Ukraine. “A framework agreement was reached on the safe return of these ships to Turkish ports. We continue efforts in this direction,” added Akar.
