Hungarian President condemned Russia

Hungarian President Katalin Novak during a visit to Kyiv said that the responsibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin for war against Ukraine is obvious, Ukrainian media write.

“The responsibility of Vladimir Putin for this war is obvious and the Hungarians always and in everything opposed this suffering and bloodshed. We are adjacent to Ukraine, and our neighbors can rely on our help. The neighbors will always remain neighbors,” Novak said.

She stated that Hungary has No. 50 thousand reasons to stop this war and achieve peace.

“150 thousand reasons are 150 thousand Hungarians living in Transcarpathia in Ukraine. There are already many ethnic Hungarians have given their lives for the protection of Ukraine,” the president of Hungary added.

She condemned Russian aggression and drew attention to the fact that “the war in Ukraine is the most relevant and important challenge in our region.”
