Greece and Hungary blocked at a meeting of the EU Permanent EU Committee a new project of the 11th package of sanctions against Russia. This was announced on Thursday by the Belgian RTBF television channel, TASS reports.
both countries require the exclusion of some companies from the list of those who support the efforts of the Russian Federation to overcome Western sanctions. However, according to the television channel, the EU countries have no systemic objections against the new sanctions project of the European Commission.
Earlier, the European publication of the Politico newspaper, citing sources, reported that the discussion of sanctions was postponed for a week – until June 14.
