Hurricane “Eric” Reached “an Extremely Dangerous” Category Falling On Mexico

Hurricane “Eric”, which hit the southwest of Mexico, reached an extremely dangerous 4th category. This was reported in the National Center for Observation of Hurricances of the United States.

The center’s statement notes that in connection with a hurricane in the southwestern regions of Mexico and surrounding areas, strong showers are expected, which can lead to deadly landslides and floods.

Mexican authorities issued a warning about possible destruction, especially in the city of Acapulco and the Puerto-Anghel region.

President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum in a video message emphasized that all events in the region are suspended and urged residents to stay at home or in shelters.
