Ibrahimov left dozens of apartments in Ganja without water

A resident of Ganja left over a hundred apartments in the city without water. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Kapaz District Police Department of Ganja has launched an investigation into the theft of water meters in the city.

It was established that a total of 112 mechanical water meters and 18 boxes were dismantled in the amount of AZN 4759, which are on the balance sheet of Gəncə Sukanal.

As a result of the carried out operational-search measures, a suspect was arrested – he turned out to be a local resident Arzu Ibragimov. The man was caught red-handed. The fact is under investigation.

Parts made of copper and brass are installed in the water meters, and it is they that attract criminals. The prime cost of the meters is about 140 manats, however, for parts at the scrap metal collection points they give no more than five manats.
