Representatives of the Higher Military leadership of Ukraine were charged with “terrorist acts” in Russia. This was reported in the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
“The investigation collected sufficient evidence of the involvement of the Higher Military leadership of Ukraine in the organization and commission from April 2022 to September 2023 more than 100 air strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles in the territories of Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Republic of Crimea and the city and the city Sevastopol, Rostov, Belgorod, Bryansk regions and a number of other regions of the Russian Federation, ”the statement said.
In particular, in absentia, the charges were brought in absentia to the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov, the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Nikolai Oleshchuk, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexei Nezhpap, commander of the 383rd separate regiment of the remotely controlled aircraft of the Air Force Ukraine Sergei Burdenyuk. It was also established that the defendants attracted the crimes of their subordinates in the service of military personnel, the department noted.
In the near future, the investigation plans to put them on the wanted list and choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in absentia, summarized in the UK.
