Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on Monday “On additional measures to improve the irrigation of sowing areas in Jalilabad, Lankaran, Masally and Yarmlinsky districts and the satisfaction of the needs of the population in drinking water.”
According to the document, for the purpose of designing and drilling 12 subartesian wells to improve the irrigation of sowing areas and used for sowing land plots in 12 settlements of Jalilabad, Lankaran, Masallinsky and Yamyl region with a population of 33,550 people, as well as the satisfaction of the needs of the population In drinking water from the amount specified in subparagraph 1.8.8 “The distribution of funds provided for in the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2021 for state investment (investment costs),” OJSC “Melioration and Water Management Azerbaijan” stands out 840 thousand manat.
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan is entrusted to ensure funding in the amount specified in the present order, the Cabinet – to solve the issues arising from the order.
