Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan has no territorial claims to Armenia

Azerbaijan has no territorial claims against Armenia. This was stated by President Ilham Aliyev, who took part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (EAEU) as a guest.

According to him, there are serious prerequisites for normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the basis of mutual recognition of territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Ilham Aliyev said that on the initiative of the Russian side on Thursday, a tripartite meeting of the heads of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will be held.

Regarding the economic ties with the Member countries of the Higher Eurasian Economic Council, the Azerbaijani leader said that the trade turnover of the republic with the EURCES countries last year increased by 31% and amounted to $ 4.7 billion.

According to him, in January-April of this year, mutual trade growth increased by another 38%. “Last year, the share of the Evdraz Member countries in the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan amounted to about 9%. We see great potential for further growth in trade,” Aliyev said.
