As I said, Shaudeniz is the main gas field in Azerbaijan and is still the only contribution to the South Gas Corridor. But work is underway over other projects. We hope soon mining will begin at one of the largest gas condensate deposits – “Apsheron”. Perhaps even less than a year. Work will be carried out in stages. At the first stage, 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas will be produced at the Absheron. This is not a very large volume. But I think this is an important indicator for some countries. It can satisfy our growing demand, as well as provide export opportunities, “said the head of state.
