Today, on August 29, Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the hotel and conference center in the center of Shusha.
The concept of a new five-star hotel and conference center reflects the architecture of a medieval caravan-shed, the design of the new hotel synthesizes modern and national architectural styles.
The Center will cover the territory of 2.8 hectares. Ornamental compositions and elements of national architecture will be used in the external design. Facing facing will be made of local stone, which was used in the construction of historical buildings in Shusha. In addition, the balconies, the Northern and South Facades of the Center will be made of wooden materials that were used in the traditional architecture, in particular, during the construction of the historic buildings of the city of Shusha – Sokhrabekov XIX century houses, the House-Museum of Uzeir Gaggibeili. A five-storey complex for 150 rooms will include rooms, restaurants, conference hulls, internal courtyards.
