Ilham Aliyev congratulated Victor Orban

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 5, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Azerbaijani Republic and Hungary, sent a congratulatory letter to the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Azertaj reports.

“Although the history of our modern diplomatic ties covers a 30-year period, there are traditions of friendship and cooperation between our peoples for centuries. Hungary is a close friend and partner of Azerbaijan. The head of state noted that today there is active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary in political, economic, energy, transport, agricultural, educational and other areas: “I believe that there are great opportunities for the further development of our mutually beneficial cooperation”.

“At present, large -scale restoration work and reconstruction are underway in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. We would be happy to see the participation in this process of Hungarian companies.
