Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 5, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Azerbaijani Republic and Hungary, sent a congratulatory letter to the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Azertaj reports.
“Although the history of our modern diplomatic ties covers a 30-year period, there are traditions of friendship and cooperation between our peoples for centuries. Hungary is a close friend and partner of Azerbaijan. With satisfaction, I want to note that over the past decades our interstate relations are dynamically And they developed comprehensively, reached the level of strategic partnership, our relations in political, economic, humanitarian and other areas have expanded even more, ”the letter says.
The head of state noted that today there is active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary in political, economic, energy, transport, agricultural, educational and other areas: “I believe that there are great opportunities for the further development of our mutually beneficial cooperation”.
“At present, large -scale restoration work and reconstruction are underway in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. We would be happy to see the participation in this process of Hungarian companies. Azerbaijan and Hungary are also effectively cooperating within the framework of international and regional organizations.
