Ilham Aliyev: In years of first Karabakh war, 3,890 citizens of Azerbaijan were missing

After the Patriotic War to today, 36 people died as a result of the underlying on mines. During the discussions, the head of the Azerbaijani state paid special attention to the issue of increasing international support to our country to establish the fate of persons missing during the first Karabakh war, mass burial places, demining the territories liberated from the occupation, the opening of the railway and road transport corridor.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that in the years of the first Karabakh war, 3,890 citizens of Azerbaijan were missing, including 71 children, 267 women and 326 old people. He also stressed that after the end of the Patriotic War, 36 Azerbaijan citizens were killed in mines, 165 people were injured.
