On the eve of the State Network Company of Azerbaijan – SOCAR and ROMGAZ (the largest manufacturer of natural gas in Romania – ed.) Signed an agreement on the supply of gas from Azerbaijan to Romania since January 1, 2023. Thus, Azerbaijan expands the geography of the supply of his gas to the European market, President Ilham Aliyev Plenary meeting in Bucharest in connection with the ceremony of signing the “Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Supply of Green Energy between the Governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary”
noting that this is beneficial to both parties, the head of the Azerbaijani state said: “This is a win -win situation, since Europe needs to strengthen its energy security, and Azerbaijan – in a reliable market for a huge amount of its energy resources.”
