The visit of the President of the Republic of Congo Denis Sassu-Vendo to Azerbaijan will have a very positive impact on the further cooperation of the two countries. Our political relations will strengthen even more.
This was said by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with Denis Sassu-Dvesso in an expanded composition in Baku.
The head of state expressed the hope that as a result of the implementation of the agreements reached based on the results of the visit, a positive dynamics will appear in trade turnover. “Today we spent with you a wide exchange of views on cooperation in the energy and agricultural spheres, and there are no disagreements again. We are ready for collaboration in connection with COP29,” Ilham Aliyev said.
Denis Sasssu-Tigno, in turn, noted that the Congo has abundant sources of water and the sun, which shines all year round. According to him, this potential and extensive experience of Azerbaijan in this area can be used for the development of agriculture of the country.
“I would like to once again note that we have great potential in the field of renewable energy, we have sunny all year round, and we can use the rich experience of Azerbaijan in this area,” the Congo president noted.
After the meeting in the expanded composition, a ceremony of signing documents between Azerbaijan and the Congo with the participation of presidents Ilham Aliyev and Denis Sassu-Nyssso was held.
