President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on some measures in connection with the holding of four matches in Baku (three group and one quarterfinal) of the European Football Championship 2021.
According to the document arriving in Azerbaijan in connection with the four matches in Baku (three group and one quarterfinal) of the European Football Championship 2021, foreigners and stateless persons from May 1 and July 5, 2021 will be able to get visas in the checkpoints At the state border of Azerbaijan, submitting one of the following documents:
– official letter invitation from the organizing committee to conduct games in Baku or Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA);
– Accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA);
– a ticket or a document confirming the purchase of a ticket for the game, for citizens and individuals without citizenship, who constantly live in the countries presented by participating in Baku players with football teams.
For foreigners and stateless persons engaged in the territory of Azerbaijan and in the appropriate accreditation in connection with the organization and conduct of games, obtaining a work permit is not required.
