Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on some measures in the field of ensuring the safety of a critical information infrastructure, reports AzerTaj.
According to the decree, ensuring the safety of a critical information infrastructure (except for the information infrastructure of protected persons and facilities), as well as the functions of the authorized body in the field of countering cyber-based states, is carried out by the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
With regard to state bodies belonging to the state of legal entities, public law legal entities established by the President of Azerbaijan, these functions are carried out by the State Security Service, together with the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan.
Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan for the purpose of legal regulation of the security sector of the critical information infrastructure is requested on the basis of proposals for the State Security Service and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan in three months to prepare and submit to the head of state projects of relevant regulatory legal acts, as well as decide Other issues arising from this Declaration.
